NEDO JUMPSMARTMAUI EQUIPMENT TRANSFER AGREEMENT (EAR-70)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 16-217, from Council Chair Mike White, relating to the transfer of equipment from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization to the County of Maui.
2. Correspondence dated November 16, 2016, from the Economic Development Director, Office of Economic Development, transmitting a proposed resolution, entitled “AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF JUMP SMART MAUI PROJECT EQUIPMENT TO THE COUNTY OF MAUI, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 3.56, MAUI COUNTY CODE,” and copies of Resolutions 14-134 and 14-135 (2014). The purpose of the proposed resolution is to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement to accept certain equipment provided as part of the Jump Smart Maui Project.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 16-217 and other related action.
