Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated February 8, 2017, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND PUBLIC SAFETY, FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget within the Department of Fire and Public Safety by transferring $11,455 from the Administration/Maintenance Program, Category C (Equipment), to the Training Program, Category C (Equipment), for matching funds required to access a grant from the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program - Operations and Safety Program.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
