AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFERS RELATING TO CATEGORIES OF USE BUT WITHIN A PROGRAM OR DEPARTMENT (DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS) (BF-121(8))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated April 19, 2017, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, FISCAL YEAR 2017 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2017 Budget within the Department of Public Works by transferring $100,000 from the Special Maintenance Program - General Fund, Category B (Operations) to Category C (Equipment) for additional funding for replacement fuel tanks at the Wailuku baseyard.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
