AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT (MANAGEMENT PROGRAM) (BF-87)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 17-356, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO ESTIMATED REVENUES; DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, COUNTYWIDE COSTS, DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT PROGRAM; TOTAL OPERATING APPROPRIATIONS; AND TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS (OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget by: 1) increasing Estimated Revenues for Carryover/Savings from the General Fund by $90,736; 2) amending Section 3.B.4.f.(1), Department of Finance, Countywide Costs, Fringe Benefits, by increasing Category B (Operations) by $33,730 and adjusting the Total accordingly; and 3) amending Section 3.B.8.a., Department of Management, Management Program, by increasing Category A (Salaries) by $57,006 and adjusting the Total accordingly.
2. A Certification of Additional Revenues for Fiscal Year 2018, dated August 25, 2017, for $90,736 in Carryover/Savings from the General Fund.

The Committee may discuss the proposed bill. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 17-356 and other related action.
