AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION (OCEAN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY FUND) (BF-119)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 18-7, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX A OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO PART II, SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF REVOLVING/SPECIAL FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018, OCEAN RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY FUND.” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part II, Special Purpose Revenues - Schedule of Revolving/Special Funds for the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget, by amending the first proviso by 1) increasing the amount from $135,000 for three vehicles to $303,000 for seven vehicles; and 2) expanding the use of the vehicles to include park maintenance.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 18-7 and other related action.
