CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS AND COST ITEM PROPOSALS (COST ITEM PROPOSALS) (BARGAINING UNIT 12, STATE OF HAWAII ORGANIZATION OF POLICE OFFICERS) (BF-6(2))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 17-467, from the Mayor, transmitting the following:
a. A proposed resolution to approve cost items for Bargaining Unit 12, included and excluded employees, represented by the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers, for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
b. A copy of the interest arbitration panel’s decision and award dated November 7, 2017.
2. Correspondence dated January 11, 2018, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting the following:
a. A proposed resolution entitled “APPROVING COST ITEMS FOR EMPLOYEES EXCLUDED FROM BARGAINING UNIT 12, POLICE OFFICERS,” along with a summary of cost items. The purpose of the proposed resolution is to approve cost items for Police Officers excluded from Bargaining Unit 12, represented by the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers, for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
b. A proposed resolution entitled “APPROVING COST ITEMS FOR BARGAINING UNIT 12, POLICE OFFICERS,” along with a summary of cost items. The purpose of the proposed resolution is to approve cost items for Police Officers included within Bargaining Unit 12, represented by the State of Hawaii Organization of Police Officers, for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolutions, with or without further revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 17-467 and other related action.
