COMPLIANCE REPORT REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE 2879, RELATING TO THE WAENA GENERATING PLANT (LU-42)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of General Communication 17-8, from Sharon M. Suzuki, President, Maui Electric Company, Limited, transmitting an annual compliance report as required by Condition 6 of Ordinance 2879, granting M-2 Heavy Industrial District zoning for approximately 65.7 acres identified for real property tax purposes as tax map keys (2) 3-8-003:023 (Lot A-1) and (2) 3-8-003:024 (Lot A-2), Pulehu Nui, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, for the New Central Maui Generation Site Subdivision.
Status
The Committee may discuss the compliance report and receive input from one or more representatives of Maui Electric Company, Limited, on the status of the project and compliance with the conditions of zoning. The Committee may also consider the filing of General Communication 17-8 and other related action.
