Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated January 30, 2018, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANT REVENUE - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR (STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part I, Grant Revenue - Schedule of Grants by Departments and Programs, Fiscal Year 2018 Budget, by adding a new grant for the Office of the Mayor entitled “State of Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations,” in the amount of $15,000. The funds will be used to support the Maui County Healthcare Partnership.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
