AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFERS RELATING TO CATEGORIES OF USE WITHIN A PROGRAM OR DEPARTMENT (DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS) (BF-62(11))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence dated May 7, 2018, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, FISCAL YEAR 2018 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2018 Budget within the Department of Public Works by transferring $100,000 from the Engineering Program, General Fund, Category A (Salaries) to Category B (Operations) for unanticipated costs resulting from flooding and storm damages.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider other related action.
