AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION (UPCOUNTRY SKATE PARK) (BF-174)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 18-348, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO ESTIMATED REVENUES; DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, MAKAWAO-PUKALANI-KULA COMMUNITY PLAN AREA, PARKS AND RECREATION, UPCOUNTRY SKATE PARK; TOTAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT APPROPRIATIONS; AND TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS (OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget by 1) increasing Special Assessment from the Park Assessment Fund by $13,000; 2) amending Section 4.E.5.a.(3), Department of Parks and Recreation, Makawao-Pukalani-Kula Community Plan Area, Parks and Recreation, Park Assessment Fund, by increasing the appropriation for the Upcountry Skate Park by $13,000; and 3) adjusting the totals accordingly.
2. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, MAKAWAO-PUKALANI-KULA COMMUNITY PLAN AREA, UPCOUNTRY SKATE PARK." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget, Appendix C ? Capital Improvement Projects, Department of Parks and Recreation, Makawao-Pukalani-Kula Community Plan Area, by increasing the appropriation for the Upcountry Skate Park by $13,000.
3. Document entitled "CHANGE PROPOSAL" dated August 21, 2018, submitted by Goodfellow Bros. Inc.
4. Certification of Additional Revenues for Fiscal Year 2019, dated September 28, 2018, for $13,000 in Carryover/Savings from the Park Assessment Fund.
