AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFERS RELATING TO CATEGORIES OF USE THAT ARE WITHIN A PROGRAM OR DEPARTMENT (DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION) (BF-156(2))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated October 15, 2018, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget within the Department of Parks and Recreation by transferring $55,000 from the Parks Program Category B (Operations) to Category C (Equipment) to: 1) replace the starting blocks at the Lahaina Aquatic Center, $25,000; and 2) purchase a rotary blade grinder to sharpen ground maintenance equipment, $30,000.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
