Title: ADOPTING THE RULES OF THE COUNCIL The Council may consider adopting a set of procedural rules for its governance, including rules relating to the following: administration of oath or affirmation; meetings and public hearings of the Council; executive meetings; public hearings requested by three members; quorum and vote; officers and their duties; committees of the Council; committee reports; voting and recording of votes; roll call; deadline for agenda of regular meetings of the Council; order of business; attendance; procedures relating to rules; ordinances and resolutions; rules of procedure; testimony; resource persons; distribution of written materials, amendments to bills and resolutions, nonsubstantive revisions; recesses; postponement of pending Council business beyond next regular Council meeting; Council travel; filing or referral of communications; documents transmitted by the Administration; and conduct relating to meetings.
