AMENDMENTS TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET TO AUTHORIZE TRANSFERS relating to CATEGORIES OF USE WITHIN A PROGRAM OR DEPARTMENT (DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL) (EDB-156(2))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence dated February 11, 2019, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF AN UNENCUMBERED APPROPRIATION BALANCE WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF LIQUOR CONTROL - LIQUOR FUND, FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget within the Department of Liquor Control by transferring $2,300 from the Liquor Control Program, Category A (Salaries) to Category C (Equipment) to fund a budgetary shortfall for the purchase of three mid-size hybrid four-door sedans.
2. Bid results from the County of Maui Department of Finance - Purchasing Division for the vehicles.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
