COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (“CDBG”) PROGRAM (PROGRAM YEAR 2019/FISCAL YEAR 2020: JULY 1, 2019 TO JUNE 30, 2020) (EDB-2(1))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 19-84, from the Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Program Manager, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, FOR A GRANT UNDER THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to authorize the filing of an application with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for a grant of $1,900,669 for the CDBG Program Year 2019/Fiscal Year 2020 (July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020).
2. A summary of applications received for CDBG funding for Program Year 2019.
3. A list of recommended projects for funding and alternate projects with contact information.
4. Executive summaries for each project.
5. Documents of significance that address "24 CFR Section 570.611 and the Conflict of Interest Questionnaire.”
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 19-84 and other related action.
