AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (COUNTYWIDE FEDERAL AID PROGRAM) (EDB-25)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 19-83, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUl AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, COUNTYWIDE, COUNTYWIDE FEDERAL AID PROGRAM.” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget, Appendix C, Capital Improvement Projects, by adding "Old Haleakala Highway Traffic Signal Upgrade at Pukalani Street," which is funded in Federal Fiscal Year 2019; and deleting "Papalaua Street and Wainee Street Traffic Signal Upgrades," which has been deferred to Federal Fiscal Year 2020.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 19-83 and other related action.
