Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated February 11, 2019, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND HUMAN CONCERNS (HOME DELIVERED MEALS PROGRAM).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Use Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs, Fiscal Year 2019 Budget, for the Department of Housing and Human Concerns, by increasing the appropriation entitled "Home Delivered Meals Program" by $42,207. The Home Delivered Meals Program receives voluntary contributions from program participants and the funds are used for personnel costs.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading , with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing the correspondence and other related action.
