STATUS UPDATES ON FISCAL YEAR 2019 GRANTS TO LO`ILOA AND BAHAY KUBO HERITAGE FOUNDATION FOR REPAIR AND CONSTRUCTION AT KEPANIWAI HERITAGE GARDENS (WAILUKU)  (HFC-22)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of a Miscellaneous Communication, dated May 21, 2019, from the County Clerk, relating to a status update on Fiscal Year 2019 grants under the Department of Parks and Recreation, Administration Program, to the following organizations located at the Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens, Iao Valley, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii:

•                     Lo`iloa, for the repair and construction of a traditional Hawaiian hale; and

•                     Bahay Kubo Heritage Foundation, for the repair and construction of a traditional Filipino hut.

 

Status

The Committee may discuss the matters.  The Committee may also consider the filing of the Miscellaneous Communication and other related action.
