Title

CHANGE IN ZONING FOR THE SOUTH MAUI GARDENS DEVELOPMENT AT 30 ALAHELE PLACE AND 33 AUHANA ROAD (KIHEI)  (PSLU-36)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 19-265, from the Planning Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE CHANGE OF ZONING FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO B-2 COMMUNITY BUSINESS FOR PROPERTIES IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEYS (2) 3-9-003:003 and (2) 3-9-003:005, LOCATED AT 30 ALAHELE PLACE AND 33 AUHANA ROAD, KIHEI, MAUI, HAWAII.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to grant a Change in Zoning from R-2 Residential District to B-2 Community Business District for approximately 2.5 acres, identified for real property tax purposes as tax map keys (2) 3-9-003:003 and (2) 3-9-003:005, situated at Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, for the proposed South Maui Gardens Development project.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 19-265 and other related action.
