CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS AND COST ITEM PROPOSALS (HAWAII GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, BARGAINING UNIT 13, EXCLUDED EMPLOYEES) (EDB-6(2))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 19-442, from the Mayor, transmitting a proposed resolution, along with a summary of cost items, to approve cost items for professional and scientific employees excluded from Bargaining Unit 13, represented by the Hawaii Government Employees Association, for Fiscal Years 2020 and 2021.
2. Correspondence dated November 26, 2019, from the Budget Director, transmitting a revised proposed resolution, which clarifies that Bargaining Unit 13 is represented by the Hawaii Government Employees Association.
3. Correspondence dated December 31, 2019, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting a further revised proposed resolution entitled “APPROVING COST ITEMS FOR BARGAINING UNIT 13, EXCLUDED PROFESSIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYEES.” The further revised proposed resolution incorporates the summary of cost items as an exhibit.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the further revised proposed resolution noted in paragraph 3, with or without further revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 19-442 and other related action.
