AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (KAUNAKAKAI DRAINAGE SYSTEM B) (EDB-57)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 19-394, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO ESTIMATED REVENUES; DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, MOLOKAI COMMUNITY PLAN AREA, DRAINAGE, BOND FUND, KAUNAKAKAI DRAINAGE SYSTEM B; TOTAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT APPROPRIATIONS; AND TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS (OPERATING AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2020 Budget by 1) increasing estimated revenues for Bond/Lapsed Bond by $3,200,000; 2) amending Section 4.G., Department of Public Works, by adding "5. Molokai Community Plan Area, Drainage, Bond Fund," and an appropriation entitled "Kaunakakai Drainage System B," in the amount of $3,200,000, and 3) adjusting the totals accordingly.
2. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (KAUNAKAKAI DRAINAGE SYSTEM B)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2020 Budget, Appendix C, Capital Improvement Projects, by adding an appropriation for the Molokai Community Plan Area for a project entitled "Kaunakakai Drainage System B," under the Department of Public Works, in the amount of $3,200,000, and a description of the project.
3. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4985, BILL NO. 34 (2019), RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF MAUI ISSUANCE, SALE AND DELIVERY OF SAID BONDS (DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS - KAUNAKAKAI DRAINAGE SYSTEM B)."
