AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET: OFFICE OF THE MAYOR, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION) (EDB-65)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 20-16, from the Budget Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2020 Budget by amending Section 3.B.9.c.(6)(i), Office of the Mayor, Economic Development Program, Grants and disbursements for Water and Environmental Resource Protection and Conservation, Environmental Protection, by deleting proviso (2), which reads “Provided, that $400,000 shall be for the containment and removal of miconia and other invasive species.”
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 20-16 and other related action.
