Description
The Committee is in receipt of a correspondence dated January 13, 2020, from the Budget, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2020 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, OFFICE OF THE MAYOR (HITACHI ADVANCED CLEAN ENERGY CORPORATION (HIACE)).” The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Use Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs, Fiscal Year 2020 Budget, by adding a new appropriation under the Office of the Mayor entitled “Hitachi Advanced Clean Energy Corporation (HIACE)” in the amount of $98,650.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of the correspondence and other related action.
