CHANGE IN ZONING FOR THE PROPOSED KILOHANA MAKAI WORKFORCE HOUSING PROJECT (KIHEI) (PSLU-56)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 20-191, from the Planning Director, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE ZONING FROM OPEN ZONE TO R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT FOR 6.943 ACRES IN KIHEI, MAUI, HAWAII, IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY (2) 3-9-004:141.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to change zoning from Open Zone to R-1 Residential District (Conditional Zoning) for approximately 6.943 acres at South Kihei Road and Kilohana Drive, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii, identified for real property tax purposes as tax map key (2) 3-9-004:141 to make the property’s land use designations consistent.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 20-191 and other related action.
