AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF A LEASE TO KAUPAKALUA ROPING CLUB & YOUTH RODEO, INC. (HFC-61)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 20-334, from the Director of Parks and Recreation, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “AUTHORIZING A GRANT OF A LEASE OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY TO KAUPAKALUA ROPING CLUB & YOUTH RODEO, INC.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to authorize the grant of a lease of County real property identified as tax map key (2) 2-8-002:008 of approximately 0.642 acres, and tax map key (2) 2-8-002:032 of approximately 4.191 acres, at an annual rental cost of one dollar for a period of twenty years, to be used solely to develop and maintain a rodeo arena and activities ancillary, not limited to practice and competition rodeos, future renovations to clubhouse, and other facilities.
Status
The Committee may discuss the matter. The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 20-334 and other related action.
