AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2021 BUDGET: DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY (STATE OF HAWAII, KANAHA BEACH PARK GREYWATER REUSE DEMONSTRATION PROJECT) (EDB-100)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of County Communication 20-415, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY (STATE OF HAWAII, KANAHA BEACH PARK GREYWATER REUSE DEMONSTRATION PROJECT)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Use Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs, Fiscal Year 2021 Budget, by adding a new appropriation under the Department of Water Supply, entitled "State of Hawaii, Kanaha Beach Park Greywater Reuse Demonstration Project" in the amount of $450,000, for the planning, design, construction, and necessary equipment to complete the project.
2. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY, STATE OF HAWAII, KANAHA BEACH PARK GREYWATER REUSE DEMONSTRATION PROJECT." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget, Appendix C, Capital Improvement Projects, under the Department of Water Supply, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, by adding a project and project description, entitled "State of Hawaii, Kanaha Beach Park Greywater Reuse Demonstration Project," in the amount of $450,000.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bills on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 20-415 and other related action.
