Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. County Communication 20-83, from the Planning Director, transmitting a proposed resolution entitled “ADOPTING THE LANA`I CITY COUNTRY TOWN BUSINESS DISTRICT DESIGN GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS.” The purpose of the proposed resolution is to update the existing design guidelines for Lāna‘i City to address the goals expressed in the 2016 Lāna‘i Community Plan.
2. Correspondence dated March 20, 2020, from the Planning Director, transmitting a revised Lāna‘i City Country Town Business District Design Guidelines and Standards. The purpose of the revised Lāna‘i City Country Town Business District Design Guidelines and Standards is to prohibit ground signs in Lāna‘i City.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the proposed resolution and revised Lāna‘i City Country Town Business District Design Guidelines and Standards, with or without further revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 20-83 and other related action.
