ESTABLISHING THE STANDING COMMITTEES OF THE COUNCIL, DEFINING THEIR DUTIES, AND APPOINTING THEIR MEMBERS
The Council may consider the creation of standing committees to assist in organizing the review of Council business, which may include the following: Affordable Housing Committee; Budget, Finance, and Economic Development Committee; Climate Action and Resilience Committee; Environmental, Agricultural, and Cultural Preservation Committee; Governance, Ethics, and Transparency Committee; Parks and Human Concerns Committee; Planning and Sustainable Land Use Committee; and Water, Infrastructure, and Transportation Committee.
