NOMINATIONS TO BOARDS, COMMITTEES, AND COMMISSIONS (REAL PROPERTY TAX REVIEW BOARD)  (GREAT-2(21))

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Correspondence dated August 18, 2021, and received on August 19, 2021, from the Mayor, transmitting a proposed resolution relating to the appointment of Stacey Lee Vinoray to the Real Property Tax Review Board, with a completed application for the nominee. 

2.                     Correspondence dated August 25, 2021, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, transmitting a revised proposed resolution entitled “RELATING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF STACEY LEE VINORAY TO THE REAL PROPERTY TAX REVIEW BOARD.”  The purpose of the revised proposed resolution is to approve or disapprove the Mayor’s nomination of Stacey Lee Vinoray to the Real Property Tax Review Board, for a term expiring on March 31, 2026, to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Russell Johnson, correct the correspondence date, and incorporate nonsubstantive revisions.

 

Status

The Council must approve or disapprove the nomination by October 17, 2021, or the nominee will be deemed approved.  The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of the revised proposed resolution, with or without further revisions.  The Committee may also consider other related action.
