AMENDMENTS TO APPENDIX A, GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022 (DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (STATE OF HAWAII, ACT 88, SLH 2021, CENTRAL MAUI REGIONAL WWRF (WAIKAPU) PROJECT)) (BFED-54(3))
Description
The Committee is in receipt of correspondence, dated August 16, 2021, from the Budget Director, transmitting the following:
1. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX A, PART I, GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES - SCHEDULE OF GRANTS AND RESTRICTED USE REVENUES BY DEPARTMENTS AND PROGRAMS, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (STATE OF HAWAII, ACT 88, SLH 2021, CENTRAL MAUI REGIONAL WWRF (WAIKAPU) PROJECT)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, Appendix A, Part I, Grants and Restricted Use Revenues - Schedule of Grants and Restricted Use Revenues by Departments and Programs, by adding a new grant under the Department of Environmental Management, entitled "State of Hawaii, Act 88, SLH 2021, Central Maui Regional WWRF (Waikapu) Project," in the amount of $3,500,000.
2. A proposed bill entitled "A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2022 BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF MAUI AS IT PERTAINS TO APPENDIX C - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, CENTRAL MAUI REGIONAL WWRF (WAIKAPU) PROJECT)." The purpose of the proposed bill is to amend the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, Appendix C, Capital Improvement Projects, by adding a project and project description under the Department of Environmental Management, Wailuku-Kahului Community Plan Area, for the Central Maui Regional WWRF (Waikapu) Project in the amount of $7,000,000.
