RESOLUTION 22-117, RELATING TO AMENDING RESOLUTION 18-210 AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSITION OF APPROXIMATELY 33.373 ACRES OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY (LAUNIUPOKO) (GREAT-56)
Description
The Committee is in receipt of the following:
1. Resolution 22-117, entitled “AMENDING RESOLUTION 18-210 AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSITION OF APPROXIMATELY 33.373 ACRES OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN LAUNIUPOKO, MAUI, HAWAII, TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, STATE OF HAWAII, FOR THE HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY REALIGNMENT, PHASE 1B-2.” Resolution 22-117’s purpose is to amend Resolution 18-210 and approve the disposition of the property as described in and shown on Exhibits “A-1” and “A-2,” conditioned upon the County’s receipt of payment by the State of Hawaiʻi in the amount of $1,251,798 for the additional area used for the Lahaina Bypass, in accordance with Section 3.44.020, Maui County Code.
2. Correspondence dated August 5, 2022, from Committee Chair, transmitting Resolution 18-210.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 22-117, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 22-117 and other related action.
