Title

LITIGATION MATTERS (RESOLUTION 23-87, RELATING TO SETTLEMENT AUTHORIZATION:  HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY; CLAIM 4080380) (PROPERTY DAMAGE) (GREAT-11(15))

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     Resolution 23-87, entitled “AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM NO. 4080380 OF HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY.”  Resolution 23-87’s purpose is to authorize settlement of the claim, filed on January 13, 2021, in the amount of $10,309.94.  The claim alleges damages to utility pole 25 fronting at 287 Baldwin Avenue, ʻia, Maui, Hawai‘i.

2.                     Correspondence dated February 3, 2023, from the Department of the Corporation Counsel, with a copy of the claim.

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend adoption of Resolution 23-87, with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of Resolution 23-87 and other related action.

 

Note
