Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 35 (2023), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.44.015, MAUI COUNTY CODE, RELATING TO QUARTERLY REPORTS ON THE ACQUISITION AND DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY.” Bill 35’s purpose is to relieve the Director of Finance of the responsibility of submitting reports to the Council within five days of any acquisition or conveyance of real property and to instead allow quarterly reports.
Status
The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 35 (2023) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 35 (2023) other related action.
