WEST MAUI COMMUNITY PLAN (PSLU-1)

 

Description

The Committee is in receipt of the following:

1.                     County Communication 21-70, from Councilmember Tamara Paltin, relating to the West Maui Community Plan.

2.                     Correspondence dated January 19, 2021, from the Planning Director, transmitting the following:

a.                     A proposed bill to adopt the updated West Maui Community Plan.

b.                     A document entitled “DRAFT WEST MAUI COMMUNITY PLAN.”

c.                     A document entitled “Maui Planning Commission Changes.”

3.                     Correspondence dated January 29, 2021, from the Committee Chair, transmitting a proposed bill entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.80B.070, MAUI COUNTY CODE, TO ADOPT THE UPDATED WEST MAUI COMMUNITY PLAN.”  The purpose of the proposed bill is to adopt the updated West Maui Community Plan.

 

 

Status

The Committee may consider whether to recommend passage of the proposed bill on first reading with or without revisions.  The Committee may also consider the filing of County Communication 21-70 and other related action.
