Description
The Committee is in receipt of Bill 98 (2026), entitled “A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 22, MAUI COUNTY CODE, ESTABLISHING A FOOD AND NUTRITION SECURITY PLAN.” Bill 98’s purpose is to codify the Food and Nutrition Security Plan consistent with the Maui County General Plan’s guidance.
Status
The Committee may receive comments on the bill from the Department of Agriculture and the Department of ‘Ōiwi Resources and consider whether to recommend passage of Bill 98 (2026) on first reading, with or without revisions. The Committee may also consider the filing of Bill 98 (2026) and other related action.
